Here's a belated birthday present from my pubisher, Whiskey Creek Press, they included Treasure Hunt in a 3-day $0.99 promo blast at both Nook and Kindle:
TREASURE HUNT:
Alexander Beck, a for-hire thief that can be contracted through the web by posting ads with his handle: The Falcon. Bill Porter hijacked a plane back in 1978; the proceedings of that caper were securely hidden inside a cave in a Central America country. Falcon is hired to retrieve it, but encounters many problems as a former cellmate of Bill, Jack Davis is after the money himself. Jack will stop at nothing until he gets a hold of the money; kidnapping Bill's daughter Jamie is only the first step.
The book will be at $0.99 from Jul/31 to Aug/01

I visited Torchwood, finally.
Found a way
to pass the time while waiting for the 50th anniversary special of Doctor Who.
In a word:
I know, it’s
not new.
Truth is, I
had stayed away from Torchwood because I knew it was geared toward adults, and
one of the appeals of Doctor Who is that I get to watch it with my wife and teen and
pre-teen sons, fun for the my party of five. But this weekend all of them took a road trip that I my job
prevented me from joining, thus, faced with the choice of visiting The Doctor
in one of the old seasons or watching something just as good and new…well,
guess where I clicked.
I started
with 2006’s season 1. And thus far, the third chapter, Ciberwoman, is by far my
favorite one. Very dramatic, well acted, and with a nice Frankenstein twist. It
was also good to see Ianto questioning Captain Jack’s leadership, the exchange
between was superb.
So, I'll keep myself entertained for bit.
Setting the details
Sci-fi author Jacquelpine Lichtemberg invited me to do a follow up post on my previous entry about settings. This time I concentrated on the details.

Participating in The Thriller Roundtable
This week, a group of authors of the ITW are discussing how to bring readers into a conspiracy with the writers:
George Bernard Shaw said that “all professions are conspiracies against the laity.” This week, we ask ITW Members Robert Rotstein, Evonne Wareham and J. H. Bográn “How do writers invite readers into the conspiracy?” You won’t want to miss it!
