J. H. Bográn is the internationally published author of novels, short stories, and scripts for film, plays, and television. Although he’s the son of a journalist, he ironically prefers to write fiction rather than fact.

José's genre of choice is thrillers, but he likes to throw in a twist of romance into the mix.

He’s a member of the Sisters in Crime, Crime Writers of Color, Short Mystery Fiction Society, the Author's Guild, Crime Writer's Association, and the International Thriller Writers where he also serves as the Assistant Editor for their official e-zine The Big Thrill. He also writes reviews for The Washington Independent Review of Books.

He lives in Honduras with his wife and three boys, and a mixed-raced dog named Thor.

He's represented by Paula Munier at Talcott Notch
